Our content

Articles, headlines, images we produce, and the design of this site are protected by copyright and belong to Souk Weekly or their respective rights holders. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link to the original article. Republishing full articles, systematic copying, or commercial reuse requires our written permission — write to us first and we will usually say yes to reasonable requests.

Calculators and guides

Our interactive tools — gratuity, rent, commute, budgeting, and school-fee calculators among them — and our guides are provided for general information only. They are not legal, tax, immigration, investment, or financial advice, and results may not reflect your circumstances or the latest UAE regulation. Verify any figure with a qualified professional before acting on it.

Reader accounts and newsletters

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you register with and for keeping your credentials private. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, spam, or attempts to access non-public areas of the site. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time via the link in each email; how we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Advertising and third-party links

Pages may carry advertising served by third parties, and articles may link to external sites, including shops and services we do not control.
