Do Not Buy a Student Laptop by Sticker Price Alone
Battery life, repair support, weight, warranty and software requirements matter more than a headline discount.

A student laptop is not just a screen and a discount. It is a daily tool that has to survive bags, classes, video calls, homework and occasional accidents. Sticker price is only the first number.
What to check
Start with school software requirements, then battery life, weight, keyboard comfort, storage, warranty, repair support and charger availability. A laptop that is cheap but heavy, fragile or hard to repair may be the wrong saving.
Avoid overspending on specifications the student will not use. Also avoid underbuying memory or storage if the device is expected to last several school years.
Think in years
The right laptop is the one that stays useful. Divide the price by expected years of use, not by the size of today's discount.
