Before You Click a Summer Sale
A sale is useful only if the item was already needed, the return rules are clear and the final price beats a normal week.
A sale can save money or simply move a purchase forward with better marketing. Before clicking, the question is not whether the discount is large. It is whether the item belongs in the budget at all.
The five checks
Check need, final price, return rules, warranty and delivery fees. If the item was not on the list yesterday, give it a cooling-off period. If the return rule is unclear, treat the discount as smaller than it looks.
For electronics and appliances, confirm the exact model number and warranty region. For fashion, check whether sale items can be exchanged. For furniture, measure twice and include delivery timing in the decision.
Use the sale, do not chase it
The best sale purchase solves a real need at a better price. Everything else is entertainment with a receipt.
